If
you have an accident while riding, the policy covers a range of
benefits including death, disablement and various general assistance
benefits. The most common expenses claimed are in respect of
non-Medicare medical items which include any medical related expenses
you incur which are not eligible for a Medicare benefit and which are
not otherwise claimable through private health insurance or a similar
scheme (eg workers compensation). A typical example is physio expenses
incurred as part of your rehabilitation.
